The Autism Wellbeing Project
For individuals and families seeking specialised support for autism, Vanquish Therapies encourages connecting with The Autism Wellbeing Project (AWP).
The AWP supports autistic adults in Halton, Warrington, and beyond. AWP focuses on addressing gaps in local services, providing approximately 150 community members with autism-affirming therapy, mentoring, free wellbeing activities, and support for independent living. Led by autistic individuals and guided by a panel from within the community, the project ensures its services align with the needs of those it serves. The team includes specialist teachers, integrative therapists, support workers, and trainers—many with lived experience. AWP also collaborates closely with local services, such as social care, recovery teams, and ADHD support, to ensure members receive the assistance they need.
