I am a 63 year old university lecturer. Three years ago I started seeing Ish on a regular basis. Initially I just wanted to talk through the emotions accompanying the protracted dissolution of my 20 year marriage. On this level alone (ie as a counsellor and ‘sounding board’) Ish was brilliant in allowing me to navigate and make sense of everything that was happening in and around myself. However Ish also incorporated ‘Life Coaching’ into our work and I can now say that 3 years later I am a happily single man who is very much on top of his professional life as an academic while also enjoying the fun and challenges of being a stand up comedian! So be warned and think twice about seeing Ish as you will probably find yourself in a much healthier, happier and more interesting place than you started!

Vanquish Therapies have been absolutely instrumental in my recovery from a traumatic past. I’ve been working with Ish for a few weeks now and I have seen an improvement in every aspect of my life.
I used to have no desire to face the day after waking up, and Ish has helped me to work through the ways I can improve my well-being. Vanquish

It’s a voyage we’ve all embarked on

It’s difficult to know where to start, Ish and Vanquish Therapies have helped me in so many ways in the little time we have been doing our work together.
After an unpredictable and traumatic childhood, I have found many parts of daily life to be a struggle. I have struggled with low confidence, volatile relationships and a lack of motivation. However, since having our sessions with Ish I have seen improvements in every aspect of my life.
My relationship with my brother has never been better. We are in a place I never dreamed of being in, communicating and loving each other in a healthy way. Most importantly, my relationship with myself is better. I am learning to love myself properly for the first time in my life and I have never felt better. I have now secured full time work, something I have been struggling to do for a long time because I simply didn’t think I was good enough.
Ish has helped me to see the power I hold within myself and inspired me to wake up every day with purpose.
One aspect that I have overlooked is how much Ish has helped my brother and I to improve our professionalism, communication, and motivation with regards to our brand ‘Modern Day Pirates’. Thanks to Vanquish therapies, we are building strong foundations for a fruitful and sustainable career in the music industry, all the while improving our relationships with ourselves and others.
